Our Legacy Museum is pleased to welcome Heather Hausser as Museum Manager, effective June 3, 2025.

A retired educator, Heather brings over three decades of experience in public education. She spent 21 years teaching in the Griffin-Spalding County School System before serving as an assistant principal in Rockdale County. Despite working outside the area, she remained a proud Griffin resident, commuting daily out of her deep commitment to the community.

Heather’s lifelong passion for history and education makes her a valuable addition to the museum team. She looks forward to leading Our Legacy Museum in its mission to preserve and share the rich African-American heritage of Griffin-Spalding County.
